our story

Gus has been in Sydney since November 2013. He always wanted to open a small coffee shop so he could bring a little of his old home to his new home. He has a passion for coffee, Italian street food and Italy. He even covered the longest wall in the cafe with a photo of a street from Trastevere, Rome to remind him of where he has come from and what he wants to share with his customers. He has worked in the coffee and food industry for over ten years and strongly believes that good quality food, coffee and service is the most important ingredient of all. He loves catering for his many loyal customers and meeting new faces every day.

 

At Due Passi, Gus’ team of authentic Italian chefs love to prepare fresh food in house. Due Passi is famous for its pasta, sauces and sweets lovingly created to satisfy its customers. This means the menu can be adjusted according to season and the fresh ingredients available. Gus enjoys letting the Due Passi team take control of what they produce so they can let their imaginations take over and constantly evolve with the customers tastes. Whether breakfast, lunch, dessert or a light meal everything is yum!
